Manifest Discrepancy Report (C.E.S) - (Dec 12, 2011) When an examination is being done at one of the C.E.S sites and a piece discrepancy is found. CBP now requires the Broker to amend the entry and re submit (Hard Copy) to CBP (At CES Site) in order for the process of exam to release. Prior CBP only required a fax copy which is no longer acceptable. FDA Refusals (C.E.S) – (Dec 12, 2011) CBP now requires that all freight be on floor for appointment by 9am and they also seal the container with a CBP seal themselves when previously they allowed the C.E.S site to seal the container. CBP does not get the container sealed until around 2-3pm that day. Please make sure that your trucker brings the container in the night before and your cut off is at least the day after your appointment in order for the trucker to make the cut off. F.C.L Logistics yard is a 24/7 operation for all container load pickups and drop offs for exams. Steamship Line/Terminal Updates for Port of LA/LB: Effective August 1, 2011 – (Dec. 12, 2011) CMA/CGM Lines (CMDU) and U.S. Lines (ANLC) are no longer providing chassis. Effective November 1, 2011 – (Dec. 12, 2011) Mediterranean Lines (MSCU) are no longer providing chassis.It will now be necessary for you to rent your chassis from TRAC or DCLI.
